Aggies storm back with strong second half to edge Lubbock Christian
An aggressive attitude can go a long way on a basketball court.
As evidence, we offer Cameron University’s strong second-half performance Saturday that carried the Aggies to an 88-77 victory over Lubbock Christian in the CU gym.
Coach Andrew Brown’s youngsters fell into a 16-point hole in the first half but regrouped to dominate on both ends after intermission.
The effort naps a 4-game losing streak and lifts the CU season record to 3-6. Lubbock, which earned a 75-67 home-court win over the Ags one month ago, falls to 7-4.
Cameron shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the first half but fired away at a 52.9 pace in the second to finish at 43.3.
