CW(ret) Wenceslao Milan Hevr, a long time resident of Lawton, passed away at the age of 85 in Martinez.GA on 10 June 2019. “Bob”, as he was nicknamed, was born on 15 September 1933 and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he learned Spanish, German and Czech. He emigrated to the U.S. where he learned English, met and married Eunice Caldwell in 1956 in Del Rio, TN. Drafted into the Air Force, he became an instructor in Panama. An infamous member of the Field Artillery Board, the “Chief” was somehow always right. A father of three, a grandfather of six and a great-grandfather of seven, he lived a full life. He was preceded in death by Eunice in 2005. He later married Nilda Palopoli who then passed away in 2016. He moved to Martinez, GA to live his eldest daughter. He enjoyed model trains, coin collecting and writing letters to the editor. A memorial service is pending.

All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me.
