Funeral for Stephaney Williams, 52, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Free Gospel Church of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ,1201 SW 27th, Lawton, with the Rev. Charles Webber, pastor, officiating.
Stephaney Williams died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at a hospital in Ada.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, under direction of Howard-Harris Funeral Services, Lawton.
He was born Oct. 25, 1961, to Jesse Williams and Betty L. Green-Williams, in Lawton. He attended Lawton Public Schools and later graduated from Lawton Senior High School. After high school, he attended Vocational-Technical School in Lawton, and later worked in the construction industry. He was a resident at Golden Years Assisted Living Facility in Konawa for the past few years.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Betty L. Green-Williams, of Lawton; seven siblings: Mrs. Pamela M. Lagarde (Kevin), of New Orleans; Frankie K. Bates, of Lawton; Clarence A. Green (Leeshell), of Ponca City; Sonja Highlander (Deric), of Waxhaw, N.C.; Jacqueline Goulet (Paul), of Lawton, and Curtis Williams, all of Lawton; and Cynthia B. Payne, of New Orleans; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his his father, Jesse Williams; his paternal grandmother, Ms. Lily Williams; his maternal grandmother, Ms. Frankie Green, one uncle, Mr. Clarence Green; four aunts: Ms. Lottie Radford, Ms. Helen Flicklin, Ms. Shelia Faye Green and Ms. Bessy Washington; and many other loved ones.
Visitation/viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home, 1005 SW C.
