Royce M. 'Pat' Spencer

OKLAHOMA CITY  Celebration of life service for former Lawton resident Royce M. "Pat" Spencer, 84, of Oklahoma City, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vondel Smith North Colonial Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd., Oklahoma City.

 
Royce slipped the bonds of earth and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014. 
 
Pat was born Jan 24, 1930, to Albert Lee and Lou Shackleford Curtis in Rush Springs, one of 12 children. She first married Robert Morris in 1950, and later married and divorced Dr. Jack Spencer. In the 1970s, Pat was store manager of Dillard's Sheperd Mall, Oklahoma City, and was later employed by C.A. Vose. She was a beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and three brothers. 
 
She is survived by three brothers: David Curtis, Austin, Texas; Conny Curtis, Georgetown, Texas; and Tommy Curtis, West Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters: Christine Jackson, Paramount, Calif.; and Louetta Ogle, Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; three daughters: Debra Gardner (Gary), Lawton; Linnea Niquiporo (Pat), Baton Rouge, La.; and Patti Colley (Tom), Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
