Ricky Joe Harrison

Memorial service for Ricky Joe Harrison, 59, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, in Lawton Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Terrell-Wilkes, pastor, officiating.

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Ricky Joe Harrison died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at his home.  

He was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Lawton, to Bill L. and Ralphene (Elliott) Harrison. He grew up in Lawton and was a 1976 graduate of MacArthur High School. He attended Oklahoma State University on a baseball scholarship, but left school to return to Lawton, where he joined his father in the family business, Harrison's Tire and Alignment.

Ricky was a member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He was a past member of HOG and the Lawton Boat Club.

He is survived by his daughters: Pauliena Harrison-Blanchard and husband Wes, and Teresa Fife; his son, Brandon Goss and wife Courtney; grandchildren: Chloe' Harrison, Oaklynn Blanchard, Nicholas McAllister, Paul McAllister, Macy Fife, Jacob Goss, Alyssa Goss, Alex Goss and Jaxson Goss; two great-grandchildren: Payslee and Karson; his former spouse, Dianne Harrison-Harris; his sister, Debbie Keefe; and extended family: Bill and Rosemary Crow, and daughters: Cindy and Toni.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steven Joe Harrison; and a granddaughter, Kayla Goss.
