Opal F. French

Funeral service for Opal F. French age 84, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. French passed away on Monday afternoon, April 8, 2019 at her home in Frederick.

Opal Florene (Jack) French was born on October 17, 1934 in Atoka, Oklahoma to John L. and Allie Bell (Blankenship) Jack. She attended Atoka Public Schools. In 1978, she was united in marriage to Harold Dale French in Vancouver, Washington. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2016. She attended church with her husband, Rev. Harold Dale French at their church, Family Worship Center in Davidson, Oklahoma. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one son, Carl Rushin of Davidson, Oklahoma; four daughters, Judie Villanueve and her husband Larry of Davidson, Oklahoma, Sharon White and her spouse David Ballew of Frederick, Oklahoma, Brenda Chambers and her spouse Toni Tyner of Lawton, Oklahoma and Lisa Pettis and her spouse Enos of Davidson, Oklahoma; one brother, Johnny Carrol and his wife Ann of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Elsie Brown of Paden, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Allie Bell Jack; her husband, Rev. Harold Dale French; one daughter, Vickey Fouts French; one son, Michael Rushin; three brothers, Leander Jack, Marvin “A.J.” Jack, and Jessie Jack; three sisters, Marjie Reeves, Lou Etta Rushin, and Margaret “Juanita” Maxey.
