Mary Jane O. Campos, age 63, of Lawton, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 in Lawton. She was born September 7, 1956. Mary Jane was married to Sgt.1st Class Daniel Campos for 44 years. She was originally from Kingsville, Texas. She supported her husband Daniel in his 20 years of service in the Army. She retired as a security supervisor from the Apache Casino.
She was a wife, a mother and a sister. She was the light when you were in the dark. Her smile was so vibrant and warm. She loved the ocean even though she couldn’t swim. Hawaii was her happy place. Her second home was the Apache casino because she loved being with her friends. She was the shoulder you could lean on. Even if you were meeting her for the first time she would make you feel like family. Her smile was infectious and she could light up a room with her laugh.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel R. Campos; her children, Janiece Ervin of Colorado, Deniece Landry of Lawton, Daniel Campos Jr. of Lawton and Katie Campos of Lawton, two sisters, Elda Harding of Lawton and Diana Kemp of Florida; and six brothers from Kingsville, Texas and seven grandchildren.
