Kevin Lee Roskam
Kevin was born May 10, 1954, in Lawton to Alma Lee Porter Roskam and John Riley Roskam.
He grew up in Cache and graduated from Cache High School in May 1972 and later from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Okmulgee, in May 1984 with an Associate's Degree in Diesel Mechanics. He worked as a mechanic for UPS and ThermoKing in the Dallas area.
He married Rayla Metcalf on Dec 17, 1982. He and his wife attended many concerts before and during their 36 years of marriage. He enjoyed going to football games. Kevin had a deep passion for all animals; he was an avid animal lover and he and his wife were season ticket holders of the Dallas Zoo and Dallas Aquarium for many years.
Kevin served his country in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He earned the National Defense Service Medal.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Rayla Roskam, of the home; brothers: Kelly and wife Teresa of Cache, Kyle and wife Susan of Broken Arrow, and Kendall and wife Donna, of Broken Arrow; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Kevin passed away Feb. 6, 2018, in a Dallas hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Grady Lane (Laddie) Roskam; and a sister, Donna Gail Gibbons.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Cache Cemetery with Trey Graham, pastor of First Baptist Church of Cache, officiating.
