On Monday, September 2, 2019, Officer Keane Biggins, a loving son, grandson, and brother, departed this life and gained his wings in the Army of the Lord at the age of 24.
Officer Keane Biggins, was born on August 16, 1995 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Glenda Taveuveu and Tyrone McAllister. He received his early education in the Lawton Public Schools and later studied Criminal Justice at Cameron University.
After deciding on a career in Law Enforcement, Keane was employed, as a Correctional Officer, at the GEO private prison. Currently, he was attending the CLEET Basic Reserve Academy for Lawton Public Schools to fulfill his dream of being a police officer in the schools and protecting students from harm.
Keane loved animals, especially his best doggie pal, Marley. He loved making music and performing with his friends EJ, Matthew, and Rel. He was known for his kind and loving heart, and being a jokester. He had an infectious smile, and never met a stranger. He loved playing Legos with his nephew, and playing X-Box with his best friend and brother, Anthony Gustave.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his maternal grandmother, Ms. Juanita Rowe, of Lawton, OK, his parents: Glenda and Fia Taveuveu of Lawton, OK, and Tyrone and Nancy McAllister of San Antonio, TX; two sisters: Latasha Burnett and Shanice Biggins of Dallas, TX; three nieces: Simone, Kiara, Anissa; two nephews; Jordan and his “mini me” Quentin, his aunts and uncles: Johnny Biggins (Lorie) and Debora Biggins (Pam) of Lawton, Ok; Walter Biggins (Cynthia) of Desoto, TX; and Timothy Biggins (Mary) of Hobart, OK. His cousins Billy Biggins and Devon Biggins (of Oklahoma City, OK), Quincy Biggins, Chris Biggins and Joshua Biggins (all of Lawton, OK), and many others. His sweetheart and best friend Shuntana Heard and her parents Thomas and Linda Heard, of Lawton, OK; Officer Keefer and Officer Tiffany Sparks along with his other brothers and sisters in arms from the CLEET Basic Reserve Academy; close friends Malia, Anthony, OJ, EJ, Seth, Desmond, Riley, Elston, Nick, Matthew, Don, Nick, and a host of other family and friends.
Home-going Celebration for Keane will be held, on Tuesday, September 10, at 11:00am, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home; 2701 SW J Avenue, Lawton, OK, 73505. In addition, viewing will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Monday, September 9, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the funeral home.
