Joyce Janic Janece Muse Wilson

SNYDER  Funeral for Joyce Janic Janece Muse Wilson, 51, Snyder, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel.

Joyce went to heaven Friday, March 14, 2014.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. 

She was born July 2, 1962, in Clinton, to the late Charlie Gilbert and Dora Bell Muse. Joyce graduated from Snyder High School in 1980. She worked for the City of Snyder from 1979-1980. She gave her life to Christ at the age 10, and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She married Roy Lee Wilson on July 3, 1980, and they later resided in Lawton. Joyce was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends and talking on the phone. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and making them happy.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Roy, of the home; five children: Roy Wilson III, Lawton; TaNesha Haith and Larry Powell, Lawton; Shameka and James McGill, Snyder; Roy Lee Wilson II, Oklahoma City; and Gwendolyn C. Wilson, Oklahoma City; four sisters and five brothers: Betty Dickey, Snyder; Lula Brown, Snyder; Carolyn and Billy Lacy, Snyder; Leana Ingram, Oklahoma City; Bill Muse, Oklahoma City; Gary Muse and Della Gonzales, Snyder; Jimmy Muse, Dallas; Clavis and LaRu Gilbert, Oklahoma City; Charlie Jr. and Ann Gilbert, Wewoka; 13 grandchildren: Cambria, Avion, and Jaciee Wilson, Kaniyah Haith, Adonis Powell, Aalayah Gardner, KeAnna McGill, Dakira Peevy, Mykel Major Peevy, C'ontrae Peevy, Roeyon Wilson, Ramia Wilson and Romeo Cash Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and one very special niece, Sharleigha Dickey; and eight special friends that she cared and loved dearly: Eugene Haith, Sharon Kay Danna, Autumn Gardner, Cynthia Muse, Johnnie Stewart, Shae Hill, Betty Sanders and Betsy Beierschmitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Candice Wilson; a grandson, Francisco Haith; two sisters: Florence Woodly and Evelyn Allen; and three brothers: Raymond Muse Jr., Jerry Muse and Jake Muse.
