Joseph Ralph Toahty

Joseph Ralph Toahty had a reunion with his parents in heaven on February 5, 2019 in Cyril.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday February 11, 2019 at Comanche Nation Funeral Home with Lloyd Heminokeky officiating. Visitation will be Sunday February 10, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Little Washita Cemetery under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

He was born in Lawton on April 16, 1961 in Lawton to Bennie and LaDora (Yackeschi) Toahty. He attended school in Cyril and had since made his home there. He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. Joseph loved the Oklahoma Sooners and a Dr. Pepper fountain drink packed with ice and no straw. He enjoyed painting and collecting Hot Wheels.

He is survived by: two sisters: Debra Herrera of Apache and Ulinda Toahty of Stillwater; four brothers: Jeffery Toahty and Gary Toahty of the home, Gerald Toahty of Missouri, Warren Anque of Norman; children: Daniel and Erin both of Cyril, Adrian and Trinity of Louisville, Kentucky; previous wife, Rochelle Callaway ; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He is preceded in death by: mother LaDora Yackeschi, father, Bennie Toahty; brother, Vincent Toahty; two sisters: Margaret Rose Thomas and Freda Wetselline; grandparents: Faith Martinez and Eli Yackeschi, Ada Weryackwe and Don Toahty.
