Eula P. Hogue

OKLAHOMA CITY  Graveside service for Eula P. Hogue of Oklahoma City will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct.14, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with her son, Dr. Richard Hogue, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.        

Eula P. Hogue passed away Wednesday, Oct.11, 2017, in Oklahoma City. 

She was born June 13, 1924, in Brock, Okla., to William Anvil and Alma Pearl (Copeland) Johnson. She grew up in Love County, Okla., near Marietta.  After graduating from Greenville, Okla., High School, she married Coleman Hogue on Aug. 3, 1944, at her parent's home in Marietta. He passed away March 25, 1994. 

When Coleman was discharged from the Army, they moved to Lawton in April of 1946. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lawton, where she was very active and was president of the Four Square Sunday School Class. She worked at Sears from 1958 to 1960, Montgomery Ward's for a year and then Meador's from 1962 until 1978.  

Survivors include two sons: Richard Hogue and wife Marilyn of Edmond, and K.W. Hogue and wife Ebbie Carol of Murphy, Texas; stepdaughter, Sondra Hogue Beatley of Portland, Ore., stepson, Michael Hogue and wife Ingrid of Fort Worth, Texas; her sister, Lillian M. Underwood of Moore; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her twin brother, Eulis Burl Johnson; brother, Harden Johnson; and brother, Henry F. Johnson.
