Funeral Services for Eric Derell Millender 47, will be Friday October 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at Greater Galilee Baptist Church. Mr. Eric Derell Millender Claimed his seal number 9-25 on the train bound for glory departing this earth on September 25, 2019 at his home in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Eric was born December 9, 1971 to the Union of Johnny Millender and E. Faye Bivines in Pensacola, FL. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First Corinth Baptist Church where he served as a youth usher. Mr. Eric Milender found comfort in his favorite song by Rance Allen, Blessings are coming “ your way.” He attended the public schools of Escambia County, Florida and graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1989. He served in the United States Army, 82 Airborne Division from August 1990-March 1995. He earned Southwest Asia Service Medal, National Defense Medal and Kuwait Liberation Medal. He was a Mason of Modern Free and Accepted Mason of the Worldline Inc., Acient and accepted Scottish Rite free Masonary. A loyal and die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, at the game time Eric would “turn the light on for good luck”. In addition to his loving parents. Eric leaves to cherish his memory Son Elijah of Junction City Kansas; (2)grandchildren: Sariah and Langstyn; his loving and passionate sister; Stacey Millender-Howard (Clifton) of OKC; Grandmother, Pearlie Mae Andrews of Jacksonville, FL; A devoted Aunt Angela (Henry) Scott of Atlanta, GA., two other aunts: Shirley Ogden of Jacksonville, FL, and Carolyn English of Michigan; One uncle, Darryl Williams of AR; One nephew, Jonathon; a niece and great niece Lemeisha and Mia; his Life soul mate, Keirston Renea Island and host of cousins and friends.
