Funeral service for David Ray Pierce-Moore will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William F. Watkins, Pastor of Locust Grove Baptist Church, east of Lawton, officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
David Ray Pierce-Moore, 42, Lawton passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Oklahoma City. David was born on April 17, 1977 in Lawton to Robert Gerald “Jerry” and Inez Mae (Keyes) Pierce Walker. David grew up in Lawton and attended school there. When David got in trouble in school he used to sing his way out of trouble. He was known as a very good singer. At one time David was a commercial truck driver and a taxi cab driver. He enjoyed time with his friends and family and never met a stranger. He had a big heart and would help anyone who needed it. David later married Albert Moore on October 10, 2014 in Lawton.
David is survived by his husband of the home, his mother, Inez Walker and step-father Keith of Perkins, Oklahoma, step-mother, Paula Pierce of North Canton, Ohio, one sister, Jeri Coats and husband Christopher of Perkins, two step-brothers, Jeff Morris and wife Denise of Kingwood, Texas and Ben Morris and wife Tania of Alta Monte Springs, Florida, mother-in-law, Sandra Hancock of Lawton, paternal grandmother, Lee Pierce of Lawton and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
