Clinton Lewis Jr.

Graveside service with full military honors for Clinton Lewis Jr., 76, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Fort Sill National Cemetery. 

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Clinton Lewis Jr. passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, in Temple, Texas. He was born Sept. 10, 1941, in Wheelock, Texas, as the first child of Espanola (Petty) Lewis and Clinton Lewis Sr. Mr. Lewis graduated from E.A. Kemp High School in 1959 and later attended Cameron University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He retired from the U.S. Army after serving 26 years and achieving the rank of master sergeant (E-8). He completed several overseas tours, including Vietnam, and received numerous awards for his distinguished military service. After retiring from the military, Mr. Lewis worked as a parole investigator for the State of Oklahoma for over 20 years.

Left to cherish memories of him are two daughters and sons-in-law: Cynthia D. and Walter Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kimberly A. and Antonio Millner of Harker Heights, Texas; two beautiful granddaughters: Elizabeth C.A. Millner and Cydnee A. Taylor; and two sisters: Mavis Lavonne Harris-Hall of Bryan and Mavis Yvonne Goosby of Fort Worth. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Lewis; his parents, Espanola and Clinton Lewis Sr.; and two brothers: James Edward Lewis Sr. and Robert Earl Lewis.
