Funeral service for Angelika Algeri, 57, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, in the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel, in Lawton, with Minister Paul Cooper, Faith Based Church of God, Lawton, officiating.
Mrs. Algeri passed away on Monday, June, 9 2014, in Lawton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Angelika was born on Aug. 30th, 1956, in Herzogenrath, Germany, to Hermann and Lotte ( Boetcher) Kruger. She grew up in Koeln, Germany, where she graduated High School and later attended a Vocational school to become a seamstress. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, cooking, swimming and playing with her grandchildren. She spoke five languages and loved taking care of "her" Soldiers. She was known to them as "The Angel of Aviation" for all of the crosses she had sewn on the inside of their uniforms before going to war. Her children came first no matter what.
Mrs. Algeri is survived by: her children: Nachim Das, of Germany, Welid Das, of Germany, Guneth Das and his wife, Naomi, of Lawton, Patricia and her husband, David Cox, of Lawton, and Natasha Algeri, of Ohio; Her father, Hermann Kruger, of Germany; a brother, Hermann Kruger and his wife, Annette, of Germany; six sisters: Sigrid and her husband, Jerry Dillard, of Lawton, Gerda and her husband, Will Bodden, of Germany, Susanne Dixon, of Georgia, Annelise and her husband, Manfred Bodden, of Germany, Andrea and her husband, Stefan Redder, of Germany, and Britta and her husband, Mario Wiedenhoft, of Germany; five grandchildren: Samyra, Meadreya, Gina, Eric and Ibrahim; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her mother; a brother, Wolfgang Schuldt; a sister, Ulricka Kruger; and a grandchild, Mason Algeri.
