Police: nude woman brandishing shovel created path of destruction Sunday morning
A woman carrying a shovel and damaging property took off her clothes and proceeded with her demolition tour of a south Lawton neighborhood before police took her in custody Sunday morning.
Lawton Police Officer Williams Torres reported being called shortly after 6 a.m. to a disturbance that began in the 1500 block Southwest McKinley Avenue and made its way through the 1700 block Southwest Davenport Avenue and onto N.H. Jones Street. Dispatchers advised a woman was walking around, using a shovel and smashing windows and mailboxes. The report states she continued her destruction after taking her clothes off in the street. Torres immediately identified the suspect when he arrived to the scene. Officers had the woman lay down the shovel and she obeyed commands before being taken into custody.
