Missing restaurant manager under scrutiny for embezzlement
One type of call led to another type of investigation for Lawton police Tuesday morning.
LPD Officer Michael Boudreaux reported going on a 6 a.m. suspicious vehicle call in the area of Northwest 26th Street and Cache Road and arrived to find a group of people in the parking lot of Jack in the Box, 2601 Cache Road. The restaurant’s district manager was among the people. He said he was looking for the store manager, the report states.
The district manager said the last time he’d spoken with the missing manager was 8:30 a.m. Monday and that no one has heard from him since then. The store’s camera footage from inside the restaurant showed the missing manager getting the deposit from inside the store and put it inside his vehicle before leaving, the report states. Several attempts to contact the missing manager were unsuccessful.
