CU Visiting Writer Series starts

The Cameron University Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages kicks off the Visiting Writers Series with poet Ron Wallace at 7 p.m. today in the CETES Conference Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
Wallace’s latest book, “Renegade (And Other Poems)” was selected for the 2018 Oklahoma Book Award for Poetry. A three-time winner of the Oklahoma Writer’s Federation Best Book of Poetry Award and a Pushcart Prize nominee, Wallace is also now a four-time finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award.
