Comanche voters retain chairman, select new administrator, attorney
Following Saturday’s long-delayed Comanche Nation officers run-off election, the tribal chairman will remain in office.
Meanwhile, voters rejected the current tribal administrator and attorney.
According to unofficial election results posted online by the Comanche Nation Election Office, Chairman William Nelson Sr. will remain in office. Nelson received 882 votes (55 percent) of the office vote over Billy Komahcheet who received 700 votes (44 percent).
