Bank robber sentenced
A woman who admitted to holding up a Lawton bank has been ordered to serve six years in prison.
Comanche County District Court records show Jacqueline A. Vos, 49, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree robbery by fear in the Dec. 20, 2013, robbery of Arvest Bank, 2622 W. Gore. She was sentenced to 10 years, with six years suspended, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
In other cases, the following defendants have pleaded guilty to felony charges in Comanche County District Court and been sentenced:
• Stephone Carter, 23, malicious injury to property: two years; to be served concurrently with two other cases.
• Patrick L. Smith, 47, failure to register as a sex offender: 10 years with eight years suspended, $1,000 fine, one year of GPS monitoring and two years of Department of Corrections supervision.
