Altus man named to state board
An Altus man is among the three new members appointed to the Oklahoma State Board of Health.
Ronald Osterhout, who is involved in production agriculture in southwest Oklahoma, begins his term immediately, completing the term of Cris Hart-Wolfe, who resigned. Osterhout represents Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Tillman, Ellis, Dewey, Custer, Roger Mills, Beckham and Washita counties. His term will expire in 2025.
He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor of science and master of science degrees in engineering. He previously was a member of the Board of Health from 1998 to 2007.
