Tour of the Wichitas bike race set for Saturday
Saturday marks the second round of racing for avid cyclists across the region.
This Saturday morning, June 22, cyclists from across all of Oklahoma and several other states will flock to Lawton for a scenic bike ride through Fort Sill and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in the annual Tour of the Wichitas.
Saturday’s bike races of four distances — a 10, 25, 50 and 63-mile route — start at 8 a.m. There is a new starting point this year, as the race will begin at Fort Sill Airfield, at Gate 2, just off of US Hwy 62 and Interstate 44.
