Terry eager to lead Altus football’s next chapter
ALTUS Getting back to the level of the 2015 state champion Bulldogs is a tall task for new Altus football head coach Matt Terry, but it's a challenge the 2002 Altus High School graduate and 2001 state runner-up team member is up for.
So are his players.
"Being the head coach of this program is a dream come true," said Terry, who took over the Bulldogs this spring. "I knew in my heart I always wanted to come back to Altus. It's a tradition rich program with a town that loves its football team. Altus has a bunch of hard-nosed kids that lay it on the line every Friday night."
