Players frustrated with performance Friday
No one likes to stop a game before the last second ticks off the clock, but that is exactly what happened to the Lawton Wolverines Friday as weather stopped their game against Eisenhower with 1:30 remaining in the third quarter with Lawton earning the victory 29-7 over Eisenhower.
Lawton head football coach Ryan Breeze said his team was really frustrated with how the game went when they got on the bus following the weather shortened game Friday.
“You would have though we lost the game,” he said. “It was a very somber feeling.”
