Mac, Ike boys roll to regional finals
Both the MacArthur and Eisenhower girls basketball teams took care of business on Thursday to advance to their respective regional championships, and the boys followed suit Friday.
The Highlanders handled Altus for the third time this season, cruising to a 97-53 victory at home. They averaged about 99.7 points per game against the Bulldogs this season.
Mac, ranked seventh in Class 5A, will defend its home court once more today at 7 p.m. against No. 12 Ada, which defeated Ardmore, 50-35, on Friday.
Arzhonte Dallas and Earl Moseby led the scoring barrage for the Highlanders, combining for 10 3-pointers and 41 points.
Dallas, a freshman, finished with 25 points, and sophomore Moseby added 16 points of his own.
Despite the high scoring, Mac’s top three leading scorers — Sep Reese, Danquez Dawsey and Nasir Kemper — were all held under 10 points.
