Ike, Mac each claim run-rule district wins
After vastly results in this weekend's Bo Bowman Baseball Tournament, Eisenhower and MacArthur each returned to the diamond Monday.
Each got a district win by way of five-inning run-rule as MacArthur beat Altus, 26-2, while Eisenhower got a 16-0 home win over Santa Fe South.
Four homers fuel Mac in rout of Altus
Coming into the game as Bo Bowman champions, MacArthur showed no signs of slowing down Monday.
The Highlanders (15-1) totaled 19 hits and 26 runs against three Altus pitchers. Of those 19 hits, four were home runs, hit by Trey Longacre, Michelle Artzberger, Jack Smith and Colby Flood.
Longacre drove in a game-high four runs. The senior was equally effective on the mound, getting the win by going three innings, giving up just one hit while striking out seven.
Racer Felter, Zac DeLong and Malik Wilson each had three hits.
