Comanche Boy returns to ring this weekend in OKC
Oklahoma's popular world-rated boxer "Comanche Boy" George Tahdooahnippah will be back in action Saturday as the main event at the Remington Park Racing Casino in Oklahoma City.
Tahdooahnippah (33-1) will face veteran and fellow Oklahoman Tracy Sneed (27-2).
"Tracy Sneed is going to find out first hand that he has never been in the ring with anyone like me," Tahdooahnippah said. "I promise to send him back to retirement for good! This fight is an opportunity to fight here at home and nowhere better than my backyard at Remington Park Casino."
The Comanche Nation has also announced that it will conduct a live weigh-in, shadow-boxing, and autograph signing for fans featuring Tahdooahnippah today at 2 p.m. at Watchetaker Hall at the Comanche Nation Complex.
A tribal spokesman said that the celebration is being held because Tahdooahnippah is a great role model to out local kids, which is why it is so important for this event to be featured. Chairman Coffey will also be on hand to give remarks, and Tahdooahnippah will speak to his fans.
