Christmas has changed much since scribe’s childhood
There is something about working these slow holiday nights at the newspaper; you get your work done early and sit around and wait for the press to run.
It’s been hard not to get a little nostalgic during those times, thinking back to how Christmas was when I was a kid and then seeing how much different it is now.
Back in the 1950s mother would go down to the family Ford dealership in Apache and get one of those big catalogues from my uncle, the late C.H. Malone.
