Chandler closes out perfect game this time

Aaron Chandler topped the charts this week scoring his first career perfect 300 game after more than a decade of league and tournament participation.

You might recall that just over a month ago, AC ran the front 11 and scored a 298 in the All Stars league at Hog Pin Bowl where he finally hit pay dirt a week ago last Thursday.

After starting the night with a 159 game, it wasn't looking like this would be the night for the magic number to appear.  However, AC found the line in game two and never looked back, putting 12 shots in the hole to record his first 300 game to accompany the five 11 in a rows that he has to his credit.

The shot lasted just long enough for that one game for AC but that was all he needed to finally join the 300 Club after all this time.

Speaking of which, Paul Zerbe had one heck of a shot at finally breaking the spell and putting his name on the list of those with a perfecto to their credit but alas, the bowling gods saw otherwise and allowed for an 11 in a row, and the wait continues.

Paul was bowling in the His and Hers at Thunderbird Lanes where he rolled a respectable 218 out of the gate last Tuesday evening.

By the fifth frame of game two, Paul had the line in check and rolled nineteen in a row before meeting adversity, one more time.

Going off the sheet and scoring a 255 for game two, Paul kept at it until the twelfth and final shot of the night.

It was reported the tenth and the eleventh balls were as pretty as you please but for whatever reason that last shot got away from him and left the 4-7 on the deck for the left-hander, awarding him his second career 298 game and third career 11 in a row.
