Cameron avoids sweep, earns 6-5 walkoff win on Senior Day

LAWTON, Okla. – Trey Bigford's walk-off hit capped off Cameron's 6-5 win on Senior Day to split their final regular season doubleheader against No. 13 West Texas A&M on Sunday.

In game one, Cameron broke out for their first run of the series when Izrael Trevino knocked a double to plate Briton Schiewe. That gave the Black and Gold their first lead of the series with West Texas A&M.

The Buffs answered right back in the top of the second inning with a sac-fly to knot the game at one. The Buffs were threatening with two runners in scoring position and two outs when Brody Curry tossed a wild pitch to allow the go-ahead run to score. Curry was able to get out of the inning only allowing the pair of runs.
