Cache wrestling not satisfied yet heading into dual state tournament
CACHE — Despite the significant headway Jimbo Smith and the Bulldogs’ wrestling program has made after just starting duals in 2016, the Cache wrestling head coach doesn’t want his wrestlers to be satisfied.
Even after Cache won its first ever district championship and qualified for its first dual state tournament ever, the Bulldogs know there’s more to achieve.
“They haven’t hung a boy banner in that gym in 10 years,” Cache coach Jimbo Smith said. “We’re getting ready to hang not one but two banners for being crowned district champs and qualifying for dual state. It’s a big deal.”
