Aggies drop tight contest to Rogers State in Holiday Classic
FORT SMITH, Ark. — A short turnaround away from home did the Cameron men’s basketball team no favors.
Less than 24 hours after dropping 91 points in a victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith, the Aggies suffered from dreadful shooting woes and fell just short in a 61-59 loss to Rogers State to close out the Arkansas-Fort Smith Holiday Classic on Wednesday afternoon.
Cameron (4-7) shot just 39 percent from the floor and only made a third of its shots from behind the arc (8 of 24) and left four critical points at the charity stripe out of 11 attempts. The Aggies were also out-rebounded by Rogers State, 42-33.
