Aggies drop another pair on road trip

SILVER CITY, N.M. — Another road trip, another pair of losses.

Both Cameron basketball squads lost on the road for the fourth-straight game of their five-game stint.

The Cameron women (7-17, 4-12 Lone Star Conference) fell in a 69-56 loss to the Mustangs, while the Aggie men (8-17, 4-11 LSC) dropped a 80-77 decision.

Both Aggie squads travel to rival Midwestern State on Tuesday to complete the road trip.

In the 80-77 loss, the Aggies shot 47 percent from the floor but made only 4 of 20 from long distance while the Mustangs sank 13 of their 22 3-pointers to overcome 16 steals by CU.
