Driver injured in rollover
A Monday afternoon single-vehicle wreck in Greer county sent a Mangum man to a Texas hospital.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Brody Lee Payne, 35, was flown to Wichita Falls United Hospital in stable condition with head, neck and internal trunk injuries.
Payne was driving a Ford vehicle on Oklahoma 34 when he went off the left side of the roadway around 4:20 p.m., hit a concrete culvert and then traveled 460 feet before overturning one complete time and coming to rest on its wheels about 1 mile south of Mangun, Trooper Shawn Laughlin reported. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
