Reading players not always easy
Sometimes you see teams running off the floor and can immediately tell which is winning at halftime, but last night at the Comanche County Tournament, it was impossible to tell.
We were coming back from an interview in the media interview room, aka the hospitality room, when we stopped to let the girls from Geronimo and Chattanooga run off the floor to their locker rooms.
They were not wearing their emotions on their sleeves, and I had to wait to reach my spot at the scorer’s table to find out just which team owned the 20-14 lead.
Come to find out it was Geronimo that owned the halftime lead and in the end the Bluejays survived and lived to play Saturday with a 44-29 victory while Chatty will watch from the bleachers.
