Oklahoma, OSU host fans Aug. 2
With the start of college football season around the corner, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will both be hosting their annual fan appreciation days on Saturday, Aug. 2.
OU event set at stadium
The reigning Sugar Bowl champion Oklahoma Sooners will host their annual Meet the Sooners Day on Saturday, Aug. 2 inside Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Heisman Trophy candidate Trevor Knight, linebacker Eric Striker and head coach Bob Stoops highlight the Sooner team members that will be available during the fan day.
In addition to OU players and coaches signing autographs, the Sooner Schooner will be on hand for photographs, along with Boomer and Sooner.
As has been in the case in recent seasons, Meet the Sooners Day will be offered to children ages 14 and younger only. Each child may be accompanied by a maximum of one adult, but adults will not be permitted to submit items for autograph. Each child is allowed to bring one item for autograph with no exceptions.
Children registered in the Sooner Jr. Kids Club before July 25 will be admitted into the session at 10 a.m., 30 minutes before the general public. The session will conclude at noon.
On-site registration for the kids club will not be available on the day of the event.
