It’s officially official.
Another quarterback transfer. Another Oklahoma starter.
Jalen Hurts has been named the starting quarterback for the Oklahoma football team when the Sooners open the season Sept. 1 at home against Houston. Oklahoma, which was ranked No. 4 in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll that was released Monday, made the announcement Monday afternoon in an official press release, confirming what had figured to be a foregone conclusion this summer.
“The man can ball,” said junior wide CeeDee Lamb, praising Hurts. “He’s a great leader.
