Segundo Paulino San Nicolas
Segundo Paulino San Nicolas, 88, of Lawton, passed away Monday, Nov.13, 2017, at an Oklahoma City hospital.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov.17, 2017, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Services.
Segundo was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Inarajan, Guam, to Antonio Camacho San Nicolas and Ignacia T. Paulino. He attended elementary school in Inarajan and attended high school at the Father Duenas Memorial School in Mangilao, Guam. Segundo was also a Catholic member of the "Holy Name Society" in Guam. Segundo served honorably in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Preceded in death by his parents: Antonio and Ignacia San Nicolas; four brothers: Antonio San Nicolas, Ralph San Nicolas, Jose San Nicolas, and Vicente San Nicolas; and two sisters: Laura San Nicolas and Felomena Lujan, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Concepcion Toves San Nicolas; two sisters: Mary Scheafer and Dorothy Mantanona; one daughter, Selina Hampton; two sons: Ignacio Manglona and Adrian San Nicolas; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
