Funeral for LaWanda Mantooth Williams, 60, Lawton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Sterling First Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Tidwell officiating.
Mrs. Williams passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, in Lawton.
Burial will follow at Sterling Cemetery under direction of Fletcher Funeral Home.
LaWanda Jo Mantooth Williams was born May 19, 1958, in Marlow to Ray and Mary (Muriel) Mantooth. She grew up in Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School in 1976. Mrs. Williams worked for Delta Faucet in Chickasha for a few years before going to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1984. After 20 years, she retired in 2004. She married Kim Williams on Feb. 11, 1996. The two were married for 22 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, whether it be coloring, making wreaths or antiquing.
She is survived by her husband, Kim Williams, of the home; mother, Mary Mantooth, of Sterling; two daughters: Kimberly Dunning and her husband, Tommy, of Lawton and MacKenzie Blackburn and her husband, Denny, of Texas; two brothers: Dennis Mantooth and his wife, Janie, of Chickasha and Chuck Mantooth and his wife, Debbie, of Sterling; and two grandchildren: Chance and Harlee Blackburn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Mantooth.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
