Josephine M. Clark

Josephine M. Clark, 76, Geronimo, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in a Lawton hospital.

Josephine was born May 30, 1941 in Lodi, N.Y., to Perry and Athelia (Wells) Hunt. She grew up and went to school in Ovid, N.Y., and graduated from Ovid High School. She later went to nursing school in Ithica, N.Y., and worked in the healthcare Industry for over 30 years. 

On July 15, 1989, Josephine married the love of her life, Robert Clark, in Kissimmee, Fla., and they would spend the next 29 wonderful years together. In her free time, Josephine enjoyed playing board games and working in her garden, but most of all, she loved spending time with family, friends and giving lavish attention to her grandkids and fur-babies.

Josephine is survived by her husband, Robert Clark of Geronimo; seven children: Majorie Rathlun and husband Brad of Lodi, N.Y., Larry Champion and wife Louise and Jack Champion Jr. all of Deposit, N.Y., Jacqueline Hayward and husband Bill of Charlotte, N.C., Nancy Miller and husband James of Portsmouth, Ohio, William Clark and wife Becky of Haslet, Texas, and Vicki Clark of Geronimo; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, Louisiana, Texas, Connecticut and Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Athelia Hunt; and one brother, Ray "Butch" Hunt.
