Jeffery L. Milner

Funeral for retired Staff Sgt. Jeffery L. Milner will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial with full military honors will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.

Jeffery L. Milner, 59, Lawton, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, in Okmulgee.

He was born May 11, 1957, in Chanute, Kan., to Donald and Hazel Powell Milner. He was an Iraq War veteran, having served several tours overseas, including Afghanistan, Korea and Germany.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanmarie Milner; two sons: Lyle Milner and wife Mindy of Chicago, Gordon Milner and wife Jackie of Houston, Texas; grandson Liam Milner; Jeffery's mother, Hazel Powell Milner; two brothers: Donald Milner and wife Vicki of Spring, Texas, and Steve Milner and wife Debbie of Alvin, Texas; a stepdaughter, Davina Hollin of Denton, Texas; and stepson, Cody South of Vero Beach, Fla; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and a stepson, Christopher Hollin.

The family will greet friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at the funeral home.
