Funeral for Becky Nielsen will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, in First Baptist East with the Rev. Doug Passmore, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Becky Nielsen, 55, Lawton, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 10, 1961, in Alexandria, La., to W.L. and Betty Mosal. Becky grew up in Mississippi and graduated high school in Biloxi. She earned her degree in Christian education from Bellhaven University in Jackson, Miss.
Becky married Eric Nielsen on Nov. 2, 1991, in Raymond, Miss. She taught second grade at a Christian school while living in Clearfield, Utah. However, as she began a family, her commitment to family became her primary focus. She homeschooled her children and accompanied Eric with his military career. Following Eric's retirement the family relocated to Lawton.
Becky was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of First Baptist East. She had taught Sunday School and served as a Vacation Bible School leader. She enjoyed photography, cooking and traveling.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters: Brittany, Brooke and Brandi Nielsen, of the home; her parents, the Rev. W.L. and Betty Mosal of Clinton, Miss.; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Tonya Mosal of Terry, Miss.; her sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Bob Hammond, Locust, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
