Funding cuts impact science explorers
Dr. Ann Nalley has a lot to say about science, education and the future of robotics. But her most important message might be "contact your legislators and tell them to fund education."
For 28 years, Nalley, a professor of Chemistry at Cameron University, has been leading summer science academies for local high school students that are funded through state appropriations. Over the years she has seen hundreds of students come through her programs. And recently, one of them got back in touch with her.
