City will adjust codes due to new marijuana state law

The voter decision last month to legalize marijuana for medical use will mean some adjustments in municipal planning codes.

Richard Rogalski, community services director for the City of Lawton, told the City Planning Commission that city planners will have to review to incorporate the provisions of State Question 788 and the state statue it created, which allows Oklahoma residents to use, possess, grow, process and distribute marijuana in its various forms.
