Reeves scores 45 to lead ECU by Aggies

ADA  Braxton Reeves didn't forget about Cameron this holiday season.

He had nearly a dozen gifts waiting for the Aggies when they stepped off the bus and walked into Ada's Kerr Activities Center.

The East Central guard went 11-of-19 from the 3-point line and scored 45 points, leading the Tigers to an 86-69 rout Monday over Cameron.

The Aggies (9-4) were unable to bottle up the 6-foot-4 senior guard from Fort Worth, who was coming off a 40-point performance against Texas A&M-Commerce. Reeves had 22 points by halftime, almost single-handledly leading ECU to a 42-38 lead.

Cameron appeared to regain control after an 18-4 run gave it a 56-46 lead with under 15 minutes left in the second half.

But Reeves caught fire again, and this time it ignited a knockout blow.
