Paintball park offers World War challenges
WYANDOTTE - D-Day Adventure Park, one of the world's largest paintball destinations, offers thrill seekers "not just a game" but an experience.
From Friday through Sunday, the park will present "World at War Paintball," which challenges paintballers ages 9 and up with intense scenarios.
Kevin Beverlin, the manager, said the outdoor paintball wars will feature obstacles and defense techniques witnessed in video games, which provide participants with a video game simulation experience.
The outdoor setting features urban and wooded areas, Beverlin said, and the activities will include simulated air strikes, capture-the-flag and bombing runs, among many others.
Anyone, regardless of skill level, can give the games a shot.
"We mix the experienced people with the not experienced," he said. "Everybody watches out for everybody (so) that everybody has an enjoyable experience."
