Fallin signs emergency rules on marijuana

Gov. Mary Fallin has signed emergency rules adopted by the Oklahoma State Board of Health on Tuesday, setting guidelines in place to govern medical marijuana in the state.

Voters approved use of the drug June 26 as State Question 788, and the law that state question referenced gave the State Department of Health 30 days to set regulations in place  to include those for applying for licenses  to control those who use medical marijuana, as well as those who sell it, grow it and refine it.
